Congratulations, you are getting married!Organising a wedding is exciting but also can be a daunting task - our Wedding fayres give you the opportunity to be in contact with wedding suppliers who have the experience and knowledge to create your perfect day.
Instead of searching the internet or browsing through magazines you can get a chance to meet wedding experts face to face so that you can touch, taste, see or hear what they have to offer at our Free Admission Wedding fayres.
Admission is always free and you do not require a ticket to attend a fayre.

From Rolls Royces to V Dub Camper vans or maybe even a romantic horse and carriage. We sometimes even have transport for your guests too.

With a wide range of materials, colours, finishes and fonts on display our Wedding Stationery suppliers will be only too pleased to discuss your personal ideas - the invitation is normally the first thing to arrive and sets the trend for the rest of the plans.
In addition we have companies that offer a great range of tiaras, necklaces, earrings and bracelets from costume jewellery to the real thing.
Our florists will bring a selection of fresh flower designs for you to see plus albums of their work and are happy to share their expertise.
Here you can clarify the procedures required for civil ceremonies, the costings and often availability, plus lists of all venues in their county who are registered to offer wedding ceremonies.
Sometimes we have the local church represented, who can explain about church wedding ceremonies (the rules are often far more flexible than you imagine).
Some of our larger fayres may feature marquees for those of you who hope to have a reception at home. Normally they will feature the furnishings that are for hire such as hessian flooring, carpets, dance floors, starlight ceilings, drapes, tables, chairs and sofas and albums of photos to show all the possible combinations for an outdoor wedding.
Normally we have some beautiful mix & match vintage china companies who can discuss your ides with you. They frequently provide afternoon teas too.
All those little finishing touches - bunting, slate easels, tree & garden lanterns, birdcage table centres, rustic twine tied jam jars, twinkly lights, vintage votives, favours, garden games, the range available is as wide as your imagination!

What could be better than watching a film of your wedding? We frequently have some great videographers and film makers -expect to see DVD’s of their work.

Check out the canapés, the main menus, the champagne and wine selections, the staff& the linen, crockery & glass hire. Most will have samples for you to taste and many organise a tasting menu once you have chosen them.
If you having a marquee wedding we sometimes have independent bar hire too- why not go for a theme and serve you favourite cocktail or have a Pimms bar.

At our larger shows we are able to exhibit a wide selection of venues in the region to help you make the decision where to hold your wedding reception.

Nowadays, venues also have accomodation for your guests too.
Our talented make up artists have the latest products to ensure a flawless complexion and that you look your absolute best. Most offer a wedding make-up trial and packages for bridesmaids and mothers too.
Most of our suppliers will have samples of the cosmetics they use and frequently will be running demonstrations throughout the day plus having inspiring photos of weddings where they have provided the make-up.
Is your groom outgoing, would he prefer bespoke tailoring, or maybe a quirky twist, would he dare to be different with a floral shirt?

Occasionally you find a magician performing close up magic or cartoonist who can produce caricatures of your guests.
Every Mother of the Bride and Mother of the Groom wants to look their very best at their son or daughter’s wedding.
Expect a wide range of styles, materials & colours plus accessories such as hats, fascinators, handbags, shoes and jewellery.

Companies using the latest high tech equipment are often available at our fayres with sample DVD’s.
Do you want a sophisticated Up Do or long romantic curls, are you planning on hair extensions?
Our hairdressers normally all offer a trial for the brides and possibly the attendants too so you can discuss the style that suits you and your dress and what accessories you have in mind: a tiara, fresh flowers or embellished combs and pins.
All hairdressers will have albums of photographs of brides whose hair they have prepared and many will be dressing hair at their stand so you can see them in action. Most offer home visits as well as salon treatments.

Shisha can be added as part of your entertainment for your guests and is very popular.

A Master of Ceremonies (also used in its abbreviated form MC) or compère is the official host of a staged event or similar performance.
An MC usually presents performers, speaks to the audience, entertains people, and generally keeps the event moving. An MC may also tell jokes or anecdotes. The MC sometimes also acts as the protocol officer during an official state function.
